We’re a small team with a proven track record of scaling data companies. Indagari is backed by leading investors and growing revenue quickly. Our co-founders have over fifteen years of experience working with consumer transaction data. They previously delivered the market-defining transaction data product for public investors at Second Measure. Now they are building the market-defining product for consumer companies.

🚀 The Role

Indagari is entering the next phase of growth and looking for a Founding Account Executive to win new customers. As the first sales hire, you'll be on the ground floor of building our sales team. We're looking for someone who is confident in generating their own pipeline and closing customers. We’re excited for you to help us develop our go-to-market playbook and improve our operational processes as we scale. 

📈 Responsibilities

  • Own deals from start to finish. Run an effective sales process from start to finish — including outreach, demos, negotiation, and closing.
  • Improve upon the foundation. Use your experience and learnings to build and iterate on our sales philosophy, playbook, and processes.
  • Identify opportunities. Identify high-potential businesses and verticals, and develop and execute outbound strategies to bring them to Indagari.
  • Utilize market intelligence. Monitor competitors, industry trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and positioning.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Collaborate with engineering, product and customer success to ensure new customers are set up for success.

🔎 About You

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience. You have over 5 years of experience closing B2B sales, ideally within SaaS.
  • Track record of success. You have consistently met or exceeded revenue targets.
  • Confidence in selling a technical product. You demonstrate a clear ability to understand the Indagari product and you are able to effectively communicate the value to potential customers. 
  • Strong communicator. You use clear storytelling and documentation to excite customers and showcase the value of the product. 
  • Team-player. You are a team player who is highly collaborative, goal-oriented, and resourceful within their sales processes. 
  • Entrepreneurial drive. You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy iterating on the process as you learn, and see yourself as a true stakeholder in Indagari’s success.

  • Previously sold into our ICP. Your professional network runs deep and is comprised of folks that fit our ideal customer profile (strategy and marketing teams at DTC and e-commerce brands). 
  • Strategy or marketing experience. Exposure to the inner workings of strategy or marketing teams will help you deeply understand our prospective customers.
  • Startup experience. You’ve worked at an early-stage company and know how to balance speed, scrappiness, and rigor.
  • Technical fluency. You’re able to understand and explain complex, technical concepts to our future clients, regardless of their background.
